RPAC Committee—The HPRAR RPAC (REALTORS® Political Action Committee) committee is responsible for promoting and protecting the real estate industry and the dream of homeownership through political action. Here’s a breakdown of their key functions:

• Fundraising: They raise voluntary contributions from REALTOR® members to support political candidates who are friendly to real estate interests.

• Candidate Support: They work with he Government Affairs Committee to identify and support candidates at the local, state, and national levels who understand and support REALTOR® issues, regardless of party affiliation

• Advocacy: They advocate for policies that benefit the real estate industry and property owners such as protecting private property rights, promoting affordable housing, and ensuring a stable mortgage market

• Education: They educate REALTOR® members about important political issues and encourage them to participate in the political process

Essentially, your RPAC committee works to ensure that the real estate industry has a voice in government and that policies and in place to support a healthy real estate market.
